Our History
Borgo Lucia tells a story full of love, tradition and family joy. Since the 70s this charming place has hosted the owners' unforgettable holidays, under Nonna Lucia's watchful eye, who gave her name to this wonderful refuge of the soul.
The restoration work has lasted 2 years and every choice was made in order to value the environment and the trulli's particular architectural structure, where nowadays there are 5 apartments, and also the manor house, where today there are 4 rooms. The interiors have been renovated playing on a contrast between ancient and modern.
Inside the trullo apartments, kitchens are marked by the stone's white and simplicity, guidelines opposed to the elegant and colorful furnishings. In the bedrooms it is possible to see the solid wood beds' naturalness and the refined black and golden elements. In the bathrooms there are antique ceramic tiles which frame luxurious and comfortable hot tubs.
The trullo apartments are named after some varieties of figs typical of the area, this is a tribute to the connection to the land and to the experience of the family.
The main house has been restored preserving its own Mediterranean style. Entering it, the ancient Capri style tiles are the absolute protagonists of the ground floor. An elegant black granite staircase leads to the second floor, where are located 4 bedrooms and an access to the terrace from which you can admire a breathtaking view.
The rooms, whose white doors blend with the old restored floor tiles, are characterised by refined furnishings and comfortable beds. The bathrooms, where modern and antique styles merge, offer all the comforts to live them to the best.
In the greenery of Borgo Lucia it is possible to enjoy the spots set up with tables and designer sofas, in relax and silence. In the heart of the small centuries-old pinewood, there is a fully equipped swimming pool, dedicated exclusively to the guests of the structure. Among the centuries-old pines of the Selva di Fasano, the owners have always lived moments of joy, laughter and love.
Led by the affection of their grandparents, the family still wants to enhance the traditions and beauties of the Apulian land.
